NewsaHoot

Newsahoot is a first-of-its-kind ed-tech platform that makes real-world news accessible, safe, and engaging for children aged 8 and above.

They publish one news article daily across six thoughtfully curated categories: World, India, Science & Tech, Health, Environment, and Social Sciences. Every article is written at three reading levels—Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced—to suit different literacy skills and includes definitions of difficult words to help children build their vocabulary.

Our platform features daily quizzes, games, and weekend contests to reinforce comprehension and encourage creativity and critical thinking.

Newsahoot is also a valuable resource for schools and educators. With co-branded communications, discounted subscriptions, and classroom-friendly tools like read-aloud, pronunciation guides, and downloadable content, They support English learners and students preparing for debates, speeches, and competitive exams.

They are ad-free, fact-checked, and fully aligned with NEP 2020, ensuring children receive news in a trusted, age-appropriate, and distraction-free environment.

Newsahoot is proudly used by students across India and is supported by leading educational organizations, including Teach for India.

Founded in 2020 by Anmol Malhotra, a former corporate lawyer, Newsahoot was born from the belief that children deserve to understand the world around them—in a way that informs, inspires, and empowers.
