Model United Nations (MUN) | A 5-day Summer Workshop

An Ivy league alumnus-led organization helping develop 21st century skills in children across 450+ schools in 7+ countries

About the Program

Model United Nations (MUN) is an academic simulation of the United Nations where students step into the role of diplomats and debate global issues. Through research, negotiation, and formal debates, students develop essential skills such as public speaking, critical thinking, leadership, and global awareness - essential skills that remain relevant far beyond MUN

This 5-day beginner-friendly Model UN workshop introduces students to diplomacy, global issues, and structured debate while building confidence, research ability, and persuasive communication skills.

  • Art of Introduction & Lobbying: Learn the fundamentals of Model UN, diplomatic etiquette, and how to confidently represent a country while building alliances through lobbying.
  • Opinion Development & Expression: Understand how the United Nations functions and learn to form structured, evidence-based arguments aligned with a country’s policies.
  • Debating in MUNs: Practice formal debate procedures, including speeches, motions, caucuses, and rebuttals to communicate ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Collaborative Problem Solving & Resolution Drafting: Work in teams to draft resolutions, negotiate solutions, and present proposals through structured speeches.
  • Full MUN Simulation: Participate in a realistic committee simulation where students lobby, debate, draft resolutions, and vote on solutions.
