About the Program
The right book at the right age can change everything. Founded by Nitika Kariwala, a mother and early childhood educator, Once Upon A Library is a cosy picture-book library in Mumbai with over 500 titles spanning world literature and social-emotional themes for children aged 0 to 7. The Membership:
This delivery-based membership brings a rotating selection of picture books straight to the recipient's door — 3 titles at a time, exchanged regularly across your chosen plan. Every title is chosen to nurture kindness, courage, and empathy. Members also receive 30% off on all Once Upon A Library events.
Membership Plans: One-time registration fee of Rs. 500 and a refundable deposit of Rs. 1,000.
1 Month: (Rs. 2,000)

The physical space in Andheri West is open every Sunday from 10 AM to 12 PM — a quiet corner for parents and children to browse, read together, and discover new favourites. Walk-ins welcome at Rs. 500 per hour.
Terms and Conditions
- All membership plans allow a maximum of 3 books to be borrowed at any one time.
- Prices are inclusive of a one-time registration fee of Rs. 500 and a refundable deposit of Rs. 1000, both applicable only at the time of registration. The deposit will be returned to the recipient at the end of the membership tenure.
- Please input the name of the child at registration. The digital Gift Card will be issued addressed to the child. A personalized message can also be added to the same
