About the Program: My First Game – Learn Coding Through Game Design
My First Game is an engaging, multi-level program where children learn coding concepts by building their own interactive games. Using block-based platforms like Code.org and MIT Scratch, students progress from basic logic to advanced game design while strengthening problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
What Children Will Learn:
- Computer fundamentals and basic coding logic
- Loops, conditions, and functions
- Algorithms, flowcharts, and problem-solving
- Using math operators and variables in games
- Designing interactive quizzes and games
- Applying advanced Scratch blocks and defining functions

Program Structure:
Children progress through three structured levels.
- Level 1 builds the foundation by introducing computer basics, logical thinking, loops, conditions, algorithms, and flowcharts, and concludes with the creation of a simple game.
- Level 2 introduces Scratch, where children learn to use coding blocks and digital media to create interactive games such as quizzes and logic-based games, along with a project of their choice.
- Level 3 advances these skills further using complex Scratch blocks and custom functions, enabling children to build multi-level and arcade-style games that showcase creativity and strong problem-solving skills.
