Comic Making for Climate Change

We’re on a Mission to Create a Million Young Readers - Because every child deserves access to books, play, and a future shaped by curiosity.

About the Workshop

Climate change is a big topic — but comics make it click. This 2-day Comic Making bootcamp blends storytelling and environmental awareness, helping kids explore nature, identify causes they care about, and turn their ideas into original comics and adventure stories. No prior comic-making experience needed — just curiosity and a willingness to imagine.

What to Expect

  • Day 1: Deepening observation through comics — reading nature-themed comics, identifying causes that matter, and creating an original comic around them.
  • Day 2: Imagining heroes and writing an Earth-saving adventure — storyboarding a journey to help the planet, finding solutions to problems identified on Day 1.
  • Hands-on activities building skills in story sequencing, pacing, and cause-and-effect thinking.
  • An online, instructor-led format across two sessions (Saturday & Sunday).

  • Kids aged 8–12 years interested in comics, storytelling, or the environment.
  • Beginners with no prior comic-making experience required.
