About the Program: My First Python Code - Introduction to Programming
My First Python Code is a beginner-friendly program that introduces students to the fundamentals of programming using Python. Designed for school readiness and real-world relevance, the course helps students understand how code works through logic building, problem-solving, and hands-on projects.
What Children Will Learn:
- Introduction to Python programming
- Writing basic input and output programs
- Understanding variables and data types
- Using arithmetic, logical, and conditional statements
- Working with loops and functions
- Applying programming concepts to solve real-world problems
Program Structure:
Children progress through three structured Python levels, moving from fundamentals to real-world applications.
- Level 1 – Python Basics builds a strong foundation by introducing coding logic, variables, conditions, loops, and simple graphics using Turtle.
- Level 2 – Python Advanced deepens understanding through functions and data structures, helping children write organized, logic-driven programs.
- Level 3 – Python Applications focuses on file handling, events, and interactive programming, enabling learners to apply Python to real-world scenarios and build complete applications.
- Level 4 – Game Development Using Python Introduces advanced game design using Turtle and GUI programming with Tkinter, where children build interactive, logic-driven games and user interfaces.
- Level 5 – Python with AI Explores Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision using Python libraries, enabling children to work with images, videos, face detection, and real-world AI applications.
Across the program, children create exciting projects such as games, drawing tools, simulations, a Traffic Light system, Tic Tac Toe, a QR Scanner, and a final Classic Snake Game, reinforcing both creativity and problem-solving skills.
