About The Little Music Box

author

I’m Ashni, the founder and educator of The Little Music Box. I have been teaching Indian classical music to children for the past four years, nurturing a love for the country’s musical heritage in young learners from their very first note. I currently teach at White House preschool and have conducted recitals at schools including Westwind and Little Palms, with an upcoming after-school music club launching at  Toddlers Den.

To deepen my impact, I recently completed my certification in music therapy, to bring a thoughtful, well-rounded approach to how I can connect with children through music. At the heart of my work is a simple belief: India’s culture runs deep, and I want every child I teach to grow up knowing and cherishing it. Through my classes, recitals, and camps, I’m building a bridge between generations — one song at a time.
