A story can be heard. Or it can be touched, squished, poured, painted and played with.
Messy Wonder Club is a weekly sensory storytelling experience for children aged 2.5 to 4 years, where familiar stories become the starting point for open-ended play, process art and imaginative exploration. Each session brings together storytelling and thoughtfully planned sensory experiences, giving children multiple ways to engage with the theme rather than simply sit and listen.
What Children will explore
Stories brought to life
The session begins with a story, with children encouraged to follow the characters, ideas and language as the narrative unfolds.
Sensory play & process art
Textures, materials, colours and hands-on invitations extend the story into play, giving children room to experiment without working towards one fixed outcome.
Imagination & creative expression
Open-ended activities invite children to interpret the theme in their own way, make choices and create freely.
Skills that grow through play
Along the way, children work on vocabulary, fine motor skills, confidence, curiosity and social connection in an age-appropriate setting.
