Surbhi is an Internationally Certified Storyteller and professionally trained in Jolly Phonics. With a Master’s in Finance & Investment (University of Nottingham) and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), she spent 12+ years nurturing young minds in schools before discovering her true passion—helping children build strong foundations in literacy through stories and phonics.
What began as reading aloud to her son and hosting a small parent workshop has now grown into 500+ storytelling and phonics sessions (online & offline). Today, through Story Kingdom, she creates a joyful learning space where children not only fall in love with stories but also develop the phonics skills essential for confident reading and writing.
She believes that “Storytelling is Sharing Happiness” and combines it with Jolly Phonics to guide families on a joyful journey of learning, imagination, and literacy—one sound and one story at a time.
