Common Room is an online platform that offers fun and engaging creative writing courses and resources for children of ages 7 to 15.

Traditionally, a common room is a shared lounge, often attached to dorm rooms in boarding schools, where students socialize, have late-night study sessions, host house parties and engage in other after-school activities. Drawing inspiration from this much-loved space, Common Room is an initiative to create a shared virtual learning space for young learners, to engage in magical learning experiences.

Crafting Clues course is delivered by Miss Riya.

Riya is a post graduate in English Literature and a Cambridge Certified trainer of English. As part of her career at the APL Global School and British Council, she has experience in delivering lessons to children and adults of various age groups and language proficiency levels.

She has a wide array of teaching experience, which includes delivering personalized lessons to a diverse range of students including first generation learners, children with special needs and foreign nationals. This has helped her to imbibe teaching and assessment strategies that meet her learner's special needs and feed their interests.
