HOLIDAY WOODWORKING - Craft a Wooden Tree

MuSo is a unique experiential museum where children become responsible, conscious, caring and mindful citizens of the world.

About the Class

Craft holiday magic! Create wooden Christmas trees in our fun woodworking workshop.

Join MuSo for a magical holiday woodworking adventure! In our cozy studio, young craftspeople will create their very own wooden Christmas trees. Guided by expert instructors, children will learn to safely use basic woodworking tools while bringing their festive visions to life. They'll measure, cut, sand, and decorate their unique tree creations, perfect for holiday decorations or heartfelt gifts. This hands-on workshop sparks creativity, builds confidence, and introduces kids to the joy of working with wood.

Why to join?

  • Hands-on skill building: Children will learn practical woodworking skills in a safe, supervised environment. They'll gain confidence using real tools and develop fine motor skills.
  • Unique holiday keepsake: Each child will create their own wooden Christmas tree, a one-of-a-kind decoration they can proudly display or give as a heartfelt gift.
  • Screen-free creativity: This workshop offers a refreshing break from digital devices, allowing kids to engage their imagination and experience the satisfaction of creating something tangible with their own hands.

Learnings from Workshop:

  • Making & Tinkering: Hands-on experience with woodworking tools and techniques, building a tangible, personalized project.
  • Resourcefulness: Children will use materials creatively, problem-solve with limited resources, and adapt their designs as they go.
  • Logical Thinking: Understanding measurements, cuts, and assembly helps develop logical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Museum of Solutions

About Muso: Children are our future—and they play a vital role in educating themselves and others to create real-world change.

To unlock this collective potential, MuSo believes that children need to be encouraged to make mistakes, dream together, celebrate learning, share knowledge, and think collaboratively. Unfortunately, most children in India are currently learning through outdated modes of instruction based on memorisation and rote learning. MuSo was conceived to address this problem by establishing a new model for child-led, purpose-driven, and curiosity-focused education.

Museum of Solutions believes that it will have an immediate and long-term impact on children, their communities, as well as the world they live in.
