Essays From The Attic: A 5 Day Essay Writing Workshop

A team of Cambridge-Certified Teachers of English that offers thoughtfully designed programs to spark the love for expression in children

About the Class

Tucked away in the quiet corners of an old attic lie forgotten letters, dusty journals, and unfinished thoughts—waiting to be found! Essays from the Attic is a gentle and imaginative introduction to essay writing designed especially for curious young writers.

In this cozy, theme-based course, children will explore different types of essays by drawing inspiration from memories, everyday wonders, and personal experiences. With the charm of vintage envelopes and the comfort of candlelit writing, learners will craft thoughtful, well-structured pieces while discovering their unique voice.

Each lesson is like opening a treasure chest of ideas—encouraging kids to think deeply, observe closely, and express themselves with clarity and care. Perfect for curious minds and quiet storytellers, this is not just an essay course; it’s a journey into the attic of imagination, where every page tells a story.

Common Room is an online platform that offers fun and engaging creative writing courses and resources for children of ages 7 to 15.
