Once Upon A Library – where children discover the joy of reading.

About the Workshop

Once Upon A Library invites young readers to a warm and engaging read-aloud session based on the much-loved book Lost and Found by Oliver Jeffers, beautifully narrated by Shivan Bhaiya.

The story follows a little boy and a penguin on a gentle journey of discovery, helping children understand that feelings of loneliness often come from a need for friendship and connection. Through expressive storytelling and guided conversation, children are encouraged to listen, imagine, and reflect on emotions in a way that feels safe, comforting, and relatable.

This session is designed to nurture emotional awareness and empathy while sparking curiosity and imagination. Children will enjoy a calm, joyful storytelling experience that invites them to think, feel, and connect—with the story and with one another.

What children will experience:

  • A warm, interactive read-aloud session
  • Gentle discussions around friendship, kindness, and empathy
  • Exploration of emotions through story and imagination
  • A peaceful introduction to adventure, storytelling, and shared experiences
