Welcome to the Young Performers Studio! 

Somewhere between a roaring lion and a curious explorer, your child will step into stories that come alive all around them. Hamleys Play brings a week of storytelling, movement, and drama where the ball pit, jungle gym, sand pit, and slide transform into a magical stage—each day unfolding a new world, new characters, and building up to a joyful showcase performance by the end of the week.

Every session includes 1 hour of guided theatre with Dramatic Play by Happy Kidds, followed by 1 hour of free play at Hamleys Play!

How the Week Unfolds

Day 1 – Jungle Adventure

• An adventurous jungle expedition where children discover the world of wild animals through expressive storytelling, jungle themed prose, action improvisation, and rhythmic poetry. The session focuses on voice projection, sound expression, imagination, and confident stage movement.

Day 2 – Toy World

• A playful theatrical journey where beloved toys magically come alive with their own voices, personalities, and stories. Through character enactment, creative prose narration, poem recitation, and imaginative improvisation, children strengthen emotional expression, speaking skills, and stage confidence in a fun filled toy inspired atmosphere.

Day 3 – Circus Carnival

• A colourful carnival experience inspired by the excitement of the circus where children explore clowning, mime, comic timing, facial expressions, and performance based drama games. The session blends circus prose, lively poem presentation, and interactive stage activities to enhance confidence and expressive communication.

Day 4 – Magic World

• The Hamleys store transforms into a magical battleground between fairies and witches where children enter a fantasy world of spells, mysteries, and dramatic adventures. Through magical prose, fantasy poetry, imaginative improvisation, and theatrical role play, children develop creativity, vocal expression, and storytelling skills.

Day 5 – Superhero Fun

• A dynamic superhero training session filled with dramatic dialogue delivery, character building, speech activities, and high energy improvisation challenges. Children explore confidence, leadership, body language, and performance techniques while stepping into the role of powerful superheroes.

Five days of imagining, moving, and performing, and your child walks away with far more than just stage time. Growing confidence, stronger communication and public speaking skills, creative expression, teamwork, and a natural stage presence that stays with them long after the final performance.

Founded by Reshma Adnani and Bijal Shah, Dramatic Play by Happy Kidds offers Trinity-affiliated Speech & Drama Programs. They are designed to help children develop confidence, communication skills, creativity, and stage presence in a positive and engaging environment. Through structured yet enjoyable sessions, students learn to express themselves clearly, speak with confidence, and present themselves with poise.
