Welcome to the Young Performers Studio!
Somewhere between finding their first expression and stepping onto the stage, your child discovers their voice this week. Through character creation, storytelling, and performance, each day builds towards a confident final showcase where stories truly come alive.
Every session includes 1 hour of guided theatre with Manali Navalakha Rathi followed by 1 hour of free play at Hamleys Play, with all activity materials thoughtfully included- because great learning deserves a great celebration!
How the Week Unfolds
- Session 1 — Finding Your Voice & Body: Children explore expression through face, body, and voice using fun acting games, building confidence in how they present themselves.
- Session 2 — Character Creation Day: Each participant creates a unique character with its own walk, voice, and personality, stepping into role-play through imagination.
- Session 3 — Story Building & Improvisation: Children come together to build stories and act them out spontaneously, encouraging creativity and quick thinking.
- Session 4 — Scene Creation & Practice: Working in teams, children create and rehearse a short scene with a beginning, middle, and end, strengthening teamwork and expression.
- Session 5 — Performance Day — Stars on Stage: The curtain rises as children perform their final act with props and music, followed by a moment of reflection and celebration.
What Your Child Will Take Away
Five sessions of playing, expressing, and performing, and your child walks away with far more than stage experience. Confidence, communication, emotional expression, teamwork, creative thinking, and a natural stage presence that stays long after the curtain falls.
