Welcome to the Brick and Builder Studio! 

Hamleys Play and Unplggd Early Learning bring a week of LEGO® building challenges! Every day is a new opportunity to design, construct, and tell stories through bricks—from dream homes to mini cities—leading up to a final group showcase by Friday. Here, every build, every idea, and every story becomes a step in your child’s journey of creativity and collaboration..

Every session includes 1 hour of structured LEGO® building with Unplggd Early Learning  followed by 1 hour of free play at Hamleys Play, with all activity materials thoughtfully included- because great learning deserves a great celebration!

• Day 1 — Build Your Dream Home eases children into building as they create a house with rooms, characters, and fun features, developing spatial awareness and personal connection to their designs.
• Day 2 — Bridge Builders Challenge introduces problem-solving as children build and test bridges that can hold weight and allow movement, refining their designs through hands-on experimentation.
• Day 3 — Moving Machines brings motion into play, with children building vehicles or objects with moving parts, exploring mechanics and cause-and-effect.
• Day 4 — Build a Mini City is where collaboration comes alive, as children work in teams to create a connected city, combining ideas through planning and shared building.
• Day 5 — Storytelling with LEGO is the grand finale, where children build a story scene with characters and a plot, then present it as a mini theatre show with confidence and creativity.

What Your Child Will Take Away

This week does more than build structures — it builds thinkers. Creative thinking, spatial reasoning, teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and fine motor skills, all woven into five days of hands-on fun.

Meet the Educator: Unplggd Early Learning 

Unplggd Early Learning is a child-centred education initiative whose educators are trained through an intensive in-house programme drawing from leading early childhood philosophies, including Reggio Emilia-inspired practices. The team holds specialised certifications in LEGO® Education and Speech & Drama from Trinity College London, bringing creativity, communication, and critical thinking into every session.

Founded by Manali Navalakha Rathi — a Reggio Emilia-trained early childhood educator who participated in the International Study Circle in Reggio Emilia, Italy. With years of experience in early childhood education, Manali is also the founder of Sunwise Edcare and works as a curriculum developer and teacher trainer for preschools across India.
