The Yoga for Growth, Focus & Confidence program by Fit Dzire is a structured 10-day yoga experience designed for children aged 6 to 15. Each session begins with guided warm-up and stretching exercises, followed by Surya Namaskar practice and progressive asana sequences focused on posture alignment, flexibility, and strength development. Students are introduced to pranayama techniques and guided meditation to build breath awareness, mental focus, and emotional regulation. Relaxation techniques are embedded in every session, helping children develop a calm, grounded approach to physical and mental well-being that they can carry beyond the camp.
Learning Outcome:
1) Yoga Basics: Posture & Alignment
Students develop a structured yoga asana practice including correct alignment, smooth transitions, and progressive posture development.
2) Breathing & Pranayama Practice
Pranayama and breathing awareness are introduced, training students to use breath as a tool for focus, calm, and physical endurance.
3) Flexibility, Balance & Strength
Flexibility, balance, and core strength are progressively built through guided daily yoga sequences adapted for children across age groups.
4) Mindfulness & Body Awareness
Mindfulness and body awareness are developed through guided meditation, Savasana, and focused attention exercises in each session.
5) Holistic Health & Well-being
Students build a practical understanding of how yoga supports physical health, emotional balance, and mental clarity in daily life.
About the facilitator
Priya Gupta is a certified Yoga Trainer with 4+ years of teaching experience. She holds a Diploma in Yoga and is currently pursuing M.A. in Yoga. A national-level athlete, she specializes in children’s yoga, flexibility training, and mindfulness practices for schools and group sessions.
