Jugaadu Robotics is a hands-on DIY programme where children observe everyday situations, identify problems, and build creative engineering solutions. Each session guides students through the design-build-test cycle using structured materials and an innovation framework designed for young makers. Students explore concepts in mechanics, electronics, and computational thinking through building and iterating on their own projects. The programme nurtures a maker mindset encouraging curiosity, persistence, and confidence in approaching real-world challenges through smart, creative engineering.
Learning Outcome:
1) Problem-Solving & Design Thinking
Students learn to identify everyday problems and design creative engineering solutions through guided challenge-based activities.
2) Engineering Concepts & Hands-on Learning
Foundational concepts in mechanics, simple circuits, and structural engineering are explored through hands-on building and testing sessions.
3) Build, Test & Improve
The design-build-test-iterate cycle is practised as students build, evaluate, and improve their creations across each challenge.
4) Logical Thinking & Innovation
Computational thinking and logical problem-solving are developed through structured engineering challenges with defined constraints.
5) Teamwork & Creative Confidence
Teamwork, communication, and creative confidence are built as students collaborate on engineering projects in a maker environment.
