About the Workshop

By the Kids. Of the Kids. For the Kids.

What happens when children get to create and run their very own Diwali bazaar.

This four-day immersive workshop by House of Why turns festive creativity into a hands-on experience in entrepreneurship. Children become little makers, shopkeepers and entrepreneurs as they work together to bring a Diwali flea bazaar to life.

From Little Makers to Young Entrepreneurs

Across four days, children will:

Make & Create

Prepare handmade products for DIY Diwali decoration, art, food and lemonade stalls.

Plan Their Bazaar

Decide what to sell, explore pricing and prepare their stalls.

Set Up Shop

Arrange their creations, organise displays and get ready to welcome customers.

Sell & Celebrate

Experience buying, selling, handling transactions and interacting with customers.

Beyond festive crafts, children get a practical introduction to money, decision-making, communication, teamwork and creative problem-solving. Most importantly, they experience the pride of building something of their own.

A Diwali celebration where children aren't just participating. They're making it happen.
