by Yaanai Studio

We create joyful, child-led play experiences through storytelling, sensory play, art, movement and sing-alongs.

About the Workshop

A little light, a little colour and a morning of festive discoveries.

This Diwali, Yaanai Studio brings a thoughtfully paced celebration of stories, sensory exploration, music, movement and art to Coro, inviting children to experience the festival through their senses, creativity and imagination.

What to Expect

  • A Sensory Welcome
Begin with an invitation to explore soft, earthy materials. Children can settle in at their own pace, discovering textures and engaging their senses.
  • A Diwali Story
Gather around for a festive tale that introduces little ones to the spirit of Diwali through the warmth and wonder of storytelling.
  • Songs & Movement
Sing, sway and move together as music and playful actions bring energy, connection and shared joy.
  • A Little Festive Art
Children explore colours and materials through hands-on art-making, creating something inspired by the festival.

A Celebration at Their Own Pace

For young children, festivals become meaningful through what they can see, touch, hear and create. This experience offers a gentle introduction to Diwali, nurturing curiosity, sensory awareness and creative expression without rushing towards a particular outcome.

Designed for children aged 3–7 years, with caregivers welcome to stay, participate and enjoy these little moments together.

About Yaanai Studio

author

Yaanai Studio designs thoughtful experiences for children and families. They wonderfully weave together storytelling, sensory play, child-led art and craft activities, movement and sing-alongs. Their joyful experiences are led by the child’s pace and curiosity, not defined by an adult’s expectations.

From celebrations and children's pop-ups to parent-toddler workshops and playdates, they bring our experiences to cafes, bookstores and just about any space where children gather. And that's only the beginning.
