Step into a magical laboratory at Coro with The King’s School Canterbury! Your child(aged 3-8) becomes an Apprentice Potion Maker and joins a theatrical, apothecary-style lab to observe, predict, experiment and create. Packed with fizzing reactions, colour-changing potions and gooey discoveries, this is a Halloween experience where play meets purposeful learning. Little ones delight in the wonder, while older children start thinking like real scientists. Parents get a first-hand look at how King’s blends joyful childhood with academic ambition.
Treat Yourself, its on us
Your entire ticket price is redeemable at Cafe Plume, so you can unwind with a treat once the experiments are done.

3 Potions Children Can Make
- Potion of Curiosity: Dragon’s Breath
Children predict what will happen, then watch the mixture fizz and foam like a dragon’s breath. They try small, medium and large amounts to see how the reaction changes.
- Potion of Imagination: Moonlight Magic
Children add different liquids and watch the potion change colour. The colours get magical lab names: Moon Pink, Dragon Purple, Forest Green and Midnight Blue.
- Potion of Character: Monster Goo
This goo behaves like both a liquid and a solid! Children squeeze it, poke it and move it fast and slow to see what happens.
