About the Event

Ancient Indian Wisdom for Today’s Children
A four-day Diwali holiday camp by Awake Kids

Celebrate Diwali through stories, festive creativity and opportunities for children to express themselves. Drawing on the Ramayana, this four-day camp connects Indian wisdom with everyday experiences, encouraging children to think about kindness, gratitude and the choices they make.

Alongside art and craft, discussions and speaking activities give children space to share their ideas, listen to others and practise communicating with confidence.

What Children Will Experience

  • Ramayana Stories & Everyday Values
Explore stories from the Ramayana and discuss how their lessons relate to friendships, family and everyday choices.
  • Diwali Art & Craft
Create festive decorations and handmade pieces, giving children room to experiment and express their ideas.
  • Public Speaking & Expression
Practise sharing thoughts and presenting their work through guided speaking activities.
  • Values & Mindfulness
Explore gratitude, empathy and self-awareness through conversations and mindful moments.

The Finale: A Mini Market Showcase

On the final day, children bring their learning together by setting up mini market stalls to display and sell their handmade creations to parents. Presenting their work and interacting with visitors offers an introduction to entrepreneurship, responsibility and taking initiative.
