Inspired by the much-loved world of The Gruffalo, Yaanai Studio invites little readers and their parents to discover Gruffalo Granny, the newest story in this beloved series.

A New Adventure with Gruffalo Granny

The Gruffalo said to his daughter one day,
“Your Gruffalo Granny is coming to stay.”

The Gruffalo and the Gruffalo’s Child are getting ready for a special visit from Gruffalo Granny! Will they get the better of the clever little brown mouse this time and serve Granny a delicious bowl of mouse stew, or will Mouse manage to outwit them once again?

Children will step into the Deep Dark Wood through a playful 60-minute experience filled with interactive storytelling, arts and crafts, and imaginative play.. The session brings the new story to life while encouraging curiosity, creativity and a love for books.

About Booksetgo

Booksetgo is an independent children's bookstore in Bangalore, India, founded by Supriya. It offers a curated collection of children's literature, activity books, picture books, touch-and-feel books, and encyclopedias for various age groups (from babies and toddlers to older kids).

Yaanai Studio designs thoughtful experiences for children and families. They wonderfully weave together storytelling, sensory play, child-led art and craft activities, movement and sing-alongs. Their joyful experiences are led by the child’s pace and curiosity, not defined by an adult’s expectations.

From celebrations and children's pop-ups to parent-toddler workshops and playdates, they bring our experiences to cafes, bookstores and just about any space where children gather. And that's only the beginning :)

Parental/guardian accompaniment is optional. Children may attend without a parent or guardian.
Please arrive 10–15 minutes before the scheduled start time.
Please inform the organisers in advance of any allergies or medical conditions.
All activities are subject to the guidance of the facilitators.
Children must follow the instructions of the facilitators throughout the session.
