In Stick Critters, children turn simple sticks and twigs into whimsical creatures of their own invention. They’ll explore materials, brainstorm designs, and bring their ideas to life through wrapping, decorating, and assembling their handmade stick friends. It’s an imaginative play session in nature’s language — where every twig becomes a story waiting to be told.
Meet Anjana
An artist and educator, Anjana blends creativity with hands-on exploration. Her practice spans stick figure making, costume design, cloth upcycling, and embroidery. At the festival, she invites children to discover the joy of transforming ordinary sticks into extraordinary little critters using nothing but imagination and design.
